Apology
I owe my readers an apology. I have made repeated references to a series on evolution, and it has not come. The reason is that some of my reference materials have been lost in my recent move and I am still looking for them. If I cannot find them soon I will have to buy them again.

I would suggest that you don't go out and buy them because as soon as you do that, they will turn up. On second thought, maybe that's the way to do it: go buy them, save the receipt, then when you find yours you can return the ones you bought. (Don't know whether it will work that way though if you plan it. It only usually works that way when you've lost the receipt!) :)
