Who is Harriet Miers?

Harriet Miers is another case of cronyism in the Bush administration, and that is the only thing she has going for her right now. She has never been a judge, and nobody outside the President's inner circle seems to know much about her. However, the President knows her, and he made a promise to the American people to appoint judges in the mold of Scalia and Thomas. Because the President knows her so well he also knows her judicial philosphy. Since he has kept his promise in regards to the court so far I believe we every reason to be cautiosly optimistic about this appointee.

With any amount of luck Harriet Miers will be the first truly conservative female Supreme Court Justice in America. Only time will tell.
